SOFEC Inc. is a global leader with more than 50 years’ experience in the development and supply of Single-Point Moorings (SPM) and is engaged in research involving green energy and an improved tanker mooring systems and associated components. Projects range from Front End Engineering Design to full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts. EPC Projects supplied by SOFEC include Marine Terminals for hydrocarbon import and export, as well as SPM turrets, tower yokes, submerged yokes and spread moorings for tanker based FPSOs, FSOs, FLNGs and FSRUs. SOFEC’s mooring solutions are installed throughout the world in water depths ranging from 11 meters to 2,600 meters. SOFEC also have solutions for the Renewables sector, like: Mooring systems for Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) platforms, Ammonia and other e-fuels transfer and electric power buoys.
