Since its founding in 1978, Bluewater has developed a specialized technological edge in the design, development, leasing and operation of Floating Production and Power Systems, becoming a leading provider of innovative Single Point Mooring Systems. The company has designed, manufactured, supplied and installed many innovative Floating Power and Production Systems for the global energy industry through turnkey and time charter supply contracts. The company also offers operational and logistics management and support for Production and Energy Systems. Renewable Energies For offshore renewable energy production, Bluewater has developed a TLP Floating Wind Platform, a Tidal Energy Converter Platform, Solar Mattresses and the Electricity Buoy. FPSO fleet Bluewater Energy Services has designed, owned and operated ten FPSOs, of which three have been retired and two have been sold back to energy companies. Bluewater currently owns and operates its FPSOs for its customers through a lease construction. The vessels are designed to high specifications to operate in the harshest environmental conditions under the most stringent regulatory regimes. Single Point Mooring (SPM) Systems Bluewater has developed some of the most innovative Single Point Mooring (SPM) Systems in service, from Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) Buoys, to Turret and Tower Mooring Systems with multiple risers.
